Michael Breidenstein - Credit Card Help   12/19/2001; 12:47:07 PM (reads: 1807, responses: 0) We realize that most of our alumni probably don't need another credit card, however we would like to have all alumni consider a special way to help fund Rock Island-Milan Education Foundation projects. The Metro Bank has allowed the Foundation to issue a credit card that will return 1% of all purchases to the Foundation for use in its work. Many local persons have one of the credit cards and use it regularly. We receive checks twice a year from Metro. These funds allow us to increase the number of grants we give to the Rock Island-Milan teachers. These grants allow the teachers to do special projects that the school district could not fund. This past year we issued 20 grants and hope to increase that number during the 2002-2003 school year. You could help increase the number of grants by applying for and using a Metro Bank credit card.
