Reading Recovery is an early
literacy one-on-one reading and writing intervention for the lowest
achieving first grade children. Our certified site in Rock Island
supports the teachers and children from seven school districts in west
central Illinois, including Rock Island.
This website was created for two
purposes: 1) to disseminate information about Reading Recovery, and 2)
to serve as a communication link with teachers involved in the project
in Rock Island and the seven affiliated districts in our area.
